There doesn’t seem to have much changes to the children especially when we get to see them everyday. However, one thing did show that the children are growing; and that is their shoes, their sports shoes — something which they don’t wear often. By knowing that their shoes could not be worn anymore, the children are in fact so happy. Happy that they have grown and happy to know that they can buy new shoes. Children always rejoice to know that they have new things.

As you can see from the photographs, in February, the children were still able to wear their outing shoes. For both the children, the outing shoes is their walking shoes as well as running shoes. However, during the May holidays when the children wanted to wear their shoes for jogging, they found that their shoes cannot be worn anymore. Their feet just could not fit into their shoes anymore. Their feet has grown bigger! My Nike shoes were also spoilt. The heels were all dropped off.

There was June sale at Metro and Causeway Point. I had brought the children there to look at some sports shoes or walking shoes, but it was difficult to buy something which is cheap and nice. For two months, we have been looking at shoes, but we have not found anything that we would like to buy yet.

Today I come across shopping.com, which sells shoes for both men and women. The was a large varieties of shoes available there — various brands and various shoes type. There are shoes for all age group. So I can actually shop for my children and my own shoes there. I like Nike shoes but there is none that I like at the shop, except for this one shown on the left. At shopping.com, I discover that New Balance shoes are nice actually, and there are so many various designs and colours available. I like this one on the right. I prefer this one to the Nike shoes (classic shoes) on the left. It is hard to find one that is similar to this over here at our own local shopping centres. The price is reasonable. I will get this pair of running shoes if I ever see it in the shoes shop the next time I go shopping.
