Save Money Advice

By peace | August 28, 2007

This is a money demanding world. Everything is talking about money. Without money, you cannot go anywhere and you cannot do much. Every month, there are so much bills to pay. There are home mortgages, personal loan, insurance loan, telephone bills, insurance premiums, school fees for children and so on.

After deduction of all these bills and loans, what is left from our earnings or income is negligible amount. That is why, saving is very important. I always try to save as much as possible. I buy things when there are special promotion and discounts. When there are low interest rate balance transfer, anyone with credit card loans should try to use so as to save on interest payment. Next, live a simple life. Reduce power consumption. For example, by painting the house with a lighter colour, there is no need to switch on the light during the day time. Some houses have darker paints on their walls of their house. Even daytime, they need to switch on their lights so that their children can study. This is wasting money in long term.

Managing your money is all about organisational skills and discipline. You need to know where your money will go every month. By doing a balance sheet, you can have a clearer picture of where you money come from and go to. Save more and spend less. Do not have more loan than you need. Do not be greedy. Do not borrow from credit cards. Accumulate your money and you will always have enough to spend. Protect yourself and your family with insurance which will protect your assets and ensure that your dependents will be taken care of during your demise. That is financial success — when you need money, you have money.
