Meaning Of Life

What is life? If you have read my blogs, you would have known that I had been searching for the meaning of life, our purpose of life and the reasons for living in this world. Afterall, all human beings have the same final destiny and fate, which is death. Why bother to live and to face so much hardships and suffer in life when your final destiny is death?
It takes only a moment of pleasure to give life. It only takes a life time of your time and effort to raise your own blood, your offspring. Life is very fragile. As soon as your baby is born, we take good care of it, we protect the child. What is the greatest gift to a child?
Besides all the basic necessities of life, what can we give to our child? Our time, our love and everything we can. This is how we show our love. But can we be with our children forever? Obviously not. As mentioned, life is fragile. It is so funny, life can be tough and it can be as fragile as you want it to be. Walk on the road, if you are not careful, you faced chances of knocking down by cars. Everyday, we are ‘gambling’ with our lives. Risk is everywhere, even when you are at home. Natural calamities like earthquake, thunderstorm and so on, happens anytime, anywhere. How can we assure that your love for your child is everlasting?
How can we assure that your hands can continue to hold onto your child when one day you are gone? No one knows when that day will come. I would love to continue to hold my children’s hands for as long as I can. But that is not for us to decide. Today I see my child, I sent my child to school. I do not know if I will see my child the next moment. I may get hit by a flower pot when I am walking along the block of flats.
