Real Celebration

By peace | January 7, 2008

This is real celebration that you see happening in Singapore at my neighbourhood, where I am staying, Woodlands. I was happy to see this, so did my children and my husband. It was first time, happening in our neighbourhood. However, it is not a real celebration in my opinion. It is just short and transient.

The nation is a big family of people. Our Natural Father created us. We are governed by our genetically unrelated Father which may or may not follow God’s way of life. In the nation, it consists many families of people, of many race and religion. Everybody have their own opinions, their own beliefs and religion and their own way of living. It is hard to satisfy everybody when there are more families of people. This is where disharmony and disputes arises. This is where problems lies. People are not willing to give way to one another. All the people want to win, they want to feel they are important and their concern must be met.

When there is no peace in the family, how can there be peace in the nation? When there is no harmony in the family, the basic unit of the nation, how can there be happiness in the nation? Everywhere, people are struggling with their life. Everybody are sandwiched. People might not say, people might not voice out, people just keep moving, because the classroom is too small. There is no privacy at all. No criminals can easily escape. Every movement and steps you make is traced easily. But who care so much if we follow the law?

Bribery or no bribery, its just a play of words. Famous and Notorious are the same thing. Whether you do something right or you do something wrong, as long as you get lots of money coming in, you get Rich. Have money, got power, you are famous/Notorious — you rule the world.

If you think having more advanced technology and having more buildings is good, why are you asking everybody to save the world? What is saving the world and what is harming the world? I see contradictions. I see what we learnt in school are different from what we see in real life. What really is Education? Does it mean that you are a scholar and you are a learned man?

There is no such thing as a Free-thinker. Whoever try to be nice to all is a hypocrite, just acting and trying to show to the whole world that you care. Impress and act. Who is the ultimate winner? Are you really caring or are you doing for the benefits of yourself? Competition, fighting, who stands to win and what gets to be hurt? The earth is what you care and teach, but you does not seem to act to comply.

The nation can celebrate for a day, but not everyday, how pathetic. How can a happy family not be celebrating its union everyday and leading a happy life? What is celebration? A day of joy or a day of craziness? Craziness and joy to celebrant but woes to the sweeper and cleaner the next day? This is what we learned and being taught? We are the products of our own nation. What is the future products you going to make? Who will make them? Make and give away to temples? Make and kill them in the toilet? Show condom advertisements to teenagers so that they may buy condom to have sex and so prevent unwanted pregnancies? Or condom advertisements can bring more money and more business opportunities?

Real celebration is you are able to ‘celebrate’ everyday, for you know that the nation is protecting the earth and protecting the people. Real celebration is real celebration when you know that people are not suffering — people suffering for ignorance — babies killed and deserted, these are due to ignorance and wrong teaching. What you celebrating? Celebrating for the death of these innocent people? Celebrating for those people with broken families and people who are abused? Celebrating for those people who get rape and those people who get killed in war? Real celebration is when the world know how to be peaceful and live in harmony with one another. Real celebration is when families know how to live peacefully with each other and there is no competition and fighting among each other.
