With The God There is Mercy and Fullness of Redemption
This was what I found at Clara’s friend’s flat on 31st March 2008. This is their neighbour. Her friend’s house has three statues of ‘Fu Lu Shou‘ = 福 禄 寿 the deity, which I had dreamt recently this year. I even told my sister about it. It was a strange dream, it was rather vague now, but it was an old house and strange dream.
Nevermind that. On Monday 31st March 2008, just after walking away from the friend’s house, saying goodbye to Clara, I saw this picture above, the familiar cross, THE CROSS that my family used to put. Memories, and I could not help but went near it. I never know the words written on the cross. But I saw it was the Sacred Heart; I wanted to jot it down, the words, I have no pen with me. I searched, I did not have any. This is how life is, when you need it, you don’t have it. I wanted to write it down, because I only brought the handphone and not the good camera, Casio, but Richard was hurrying off, very impatient and I had to rush too.
Still I managed to write down the details of the words — because with photograph, I cannot see the words later back home. On the Top is written the sign of the cross and the abbreviation JHS, next on the two ‘wings’ or ‘sides’ are “Honour” and “Love“, and the bottom “Reparation”; The words written round the cross is “I Will Bless The Houses, In which The Image of My Heart Shall Be Exposed and Honoured.”
That same day, my mother called to say about the condition of our employee, Ah Gui, our loyal employee, someone I had seen since childhood, but not for many many years, but only heard his name mentioned every now and then by my mother.
Watching so many miracles, hearing so many mishap, misfortunes and news, knowing the story of the dead people, their past family history and little bit of information about these people here and there, I was so confused. I do not know what to do, I do not know what to do, with so many things coming at the same time.
Yesterday, I woke up, with puffy eyes. I had hardly had any good meal these days. All I want was porridge, simple food. I was so shattered, torn to pieces yesterday. I did not know what to do. Music is my motivation. He did his work, I listen to my music. I followed my heart.
Yesterday, I saw hummingbird again. That was not the first time this year. The children were surprised when we saw hummingbird came to ‘our corridor garden’ one day. It was so beautiful. And yet, I was so devastated yesterday. I am so scared that I will go back to my ‘sinful’ state….
This is my childhood playground. My house at Boon Lay, Blk 169, Boon Lay Drive, Singapore 2264, during those days.
Just as I was posting this post, I saw this photo. It reminds me of that day, 29th March 2008 when the children went to buy new clothes. I saw Max Cool Kids at Kiddy Palace of Causeway Point. I love the skirts so much. I saw Samsung TV showing the Pipers, and the ‘procession’ or whatever it was called, it was SO BEAUTIFUL. However, what I like, nobody likes.
This morning, I am feeling quite good, better than yesterday. I am motivated, inspired this morning as soon as I opened my eyes. I saw unbelievable scenes again… Awe, miraculous, beauty, happiness, TOUCHED.
