Hanging On A Rope
Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter — ten men and one woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, because otherwise they were all going to fall. They weren’t able to designate a person, until the woman gave a very touching speech.

She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids, or for men in general, and she was used to always making sacrifices, with little in return. As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping.

Bible Jokes
You know, in the Garden of Eden, Eve ate an ‘apple’ and discovered she was naked. The way they’re dressing now, I think it’s high time we passed the apples around!

It’s hard being human. Look at the prototypes, Adam and Eve. That’s a lot of pressure, being the first people. You make one mistake, everybody hears about it. You’re constantly answering embarrassing questions about how you messed up,”Okay, for the five millionth time, I was sitting around minding my own business and she goes…’want a bite?’”

“I’m feeling so lonely,” Adam told God in the Garden of Eden.

“Could I have someone around to keep me company?”

“Alright,” replied God. “I’ll make you a woman. She’ll be pretty, brainy and tender. She’ll cook and clean up the garden for you. She’ll be the most supportive woman you could ever dream of.”

“Great idea,” Adam said, “but how much will it cost?”

“A hand and a leg.”

“That’s pretty steep,” countered Adam. “What can I get for just a rib?”

After hearing the story about how God took the rib out of Adam’s side in Sunday school, a little boy who had been running and gotten a side ache said to his mother,”Mum, this is serious. I think I’m going to have a wife.”

Some people say that if Adam and Eve were Chinese, they wouldn’t have been tempted by the serpent to eat of the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

This is because the Chinese are famous for their ability to eat anything and everything and they would have eaten the snake first.

But that doesn’t solve the problem because they may still eat the fruit as dessert after the main meal of snake soup.

Romans 5:12-21: Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned— for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
